donnez-moi Paris.

Some days I wake up, and it just hits me--I miss Paris.  I miss the magical city that inspires constantly.  I miss the city of love.  I miss the exquisite culture, the unmatchable history, the living art.  I miss having the opportunity to walk through museums that house vast collections of all of the masters.  I miss the city of Mademoiselle Chanel.

I've always adored art, thanks in large part to my mother and also to having the most amazing French teacher for my tenth through twelfth grade years of French.  They created a thirst for culture that only Paris could quench, and when I finally got to go before my senior year at Trinity, I absolutely fell in love.  It's the reason why I was excited to wake up at 6am, 3 days a week, to walk across campus for an 8 o'clock Art History class.  Every piece of art that I look at is a reminder of the enchanted city. Take me back now.. inspire me!
