"The days of our lives, for all of us, are numbered. We know that. And yes, there are certainly times when we aren't able to muster as much strength and patience as we would like. It's called being human. But I have found that in the simple act of living with hope, and in the daily effort to have a positive impact in the world, the days I do have are made all the more meaningful and precious."
-Elizabeth Edwards

I am so deeply saddened over the loss of such a strong, courageous, incredible woman.  The news of the loss of Elizabeth Edwards is utterly heartbreaking, but some of her last words are a testament to what a wonderful gift she was to those who heard her story.

  1. Beautiful memorial. She was an extraordinary women.
    Love you,

  2. Such a beautiful tribute Angela to an honorable, strong, loving woman. Her passing touched me deeply, especially loosing my mom this year to cancer. It is how we handle leaving this earth that shows our true courage and how we prepare those to carry on without us which is selfless. I like to think she is with her eldest son in heaven and they are catching up, laughing and hugging. Great post!!

    Sending holiday cheer ~ Deb
