it's the (second) most wonderful time of the year.

With the Derby last week, it's the start of my favorite time of the year, next to Christmas, of course.  

Mint julep time, y'all.

Now what kind of southnah would I be if I didn't love them?  Everyone who knows me knows that whiskey is my libation of choice, so I say let the julep season begin.  Sip one out of your finest silvah.
